Book 11: A Warning

Book ‘11’ is basically a warning, as we enter the 21st Century, in two parts.

The first warning explores the poet’s scepticism about Tony Blair and New Labour.

The second warning is a warning with regard to all that has gone before in this poem; ‘memory has no function as truth’ says the poet. In other words ‘be wary’ as to what you label as truth; ALL is subjective, including the poet’s memories.
